Bluehill Dive Resort is located on the northeastern coast of Bali halfway between the villages of Tulamben and Tukad Dabu. This remote location makes our resort a serene and relaxing haven away from the towns and crowds. Though remote, we are conveniently located just 6 short minutes from Tulamben town center for those that want to explore the shops, markets, and nightlife.
From the resort you can see the picturesque, rugged beauty that characterizes this part of Tulamben with Mount Agung towering in the distance and the blue sea stretching into the horizon. Just across the road from the resort is a broad black sandy beach which is the only place in Tulamben where the shore is made up of sand, not stone.

Rooms&rates
We have 12 deluxe standard rooms furnished in a modern, natural design that blends in with tropical gardens surrounding them. Designed with a touch of luxury, each room has a private veranda with a ceiling fan and traditional rattan armchairs where you can relax in the open air. Rooms of the 2nd and 3rd floors offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape including Mount Agung, Mount Lempuyang, and the sea. Ground floor rooms open to a view of the spacious gardens and 25 metre swimming pool. Each room has either a single king or two full-size beds with a private bathroom and balcony.

The room rate includes a complimentary breakfast with your choice of Indonesia or Western-style breakfast, fruit, and tea or balinese-style coffee. Breakfast can be delivered to your room or enjoyed in the restaurant from 7:30-10:30 am daily.

Dining
We have a lovely open air restaurant on the property that serves a combination of local Balinese food as well as some Western and Asian fare. Join us for your complimentary breakfast from 7:30-10am daily, or try our lunch and dinner menu between 11am-8:30pm. Your room will be restocked with tea, water, and coffee daily by our housekeeping staff.
If you would like to try a traditional family-style Balinese barbecue during your stay, let any of our wonderful staff know and they can organize it for you! You can also use our barbecue facilities yourself if you want to swing by Tulamben market and pick up some fresh-caught local fish or other foods.
Our Dive Shop
Tulamben is one of the top premier dive sites in Bali, a mecca attracting divers from all over the world. It’s a favorite place for experienced photographers looking for the chance to photograph a rare nudibranch or the impressive whale shark; it’s also an attractive destination to beginner divers who wish to complete their discovery scuba or open water certification course due to the easy access dive sites near shore and the mild or absent current. The water around the shore of Tulamben is relatively calm and pleasant most times of the year and with good visibility.
Transportation
If you wish to explore Tulamben town, visit the front office for assistance. After 4pm, we offer a shuttle to the town center for those that want to explore the dining and shopping options; this is a free service on a volunteer basis between the staff and guests.
If you would like to explore the surrounding area, just ask our front desk about renting scooters or using the resort car service to go to any location on the island. Trips beyond Tulamben town will be charged according to the standard rates.

We take great responsibility to our guests in ensuring a safe and enjoyable dive which is why our equipment is well maintained and checked after every dive for defects. Our dive masters have logged countless dives around all the sites in Tulamben and are thoroughly familiar with the geography and the biodiversity of different sites.

There are 5 main dive sites in Tulamben, all close to one another. The first 3 are shore entry sites, quickly reached by a short drive, and 2 that require a short 10 minute ride by local boat. Beyond these 5, they're many more spots to explore - contact us for package pricing and more information.
